Rock band O.A.R. to return to Syracuse for the 4th time

The band O.A.R. has released eight studio albums. Their most recent release, "The Rockville LP," was in June 2014. The band, short for "Of a Revolution" is known for its live shows and extensive summer touring.

Rock band O.A.R. will return to Syracuse just in time for Halloween.

The band will perform at The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater on Oct. 25. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

O.A.R., Of a Revolution, first began in Rockville, Maryland, in 1996. Since then, they have garnered millions of fans — enough to sell out Madison Square Garden in New York City. Twice.

Over the past two decades, the group has sold almost two million albums, and one of those albums, “King,” reached No. 3 on iTunes and No. 12 on the Billboard 200 chart.



This will be the band’s fourth time playing in Syracuse. Artists also slated to perform The Oncenter in the fall include Nathaniel Philbrick, Zadie Smith and A Perfect Circle.
